My name is Aly	لتعريف نفسك يمكننا ان نقول

Sarah: hello I am Sarah I am a new club member.

Lily: hi my name is Lily.

Sarah: nice to meet you Lily.

Lily: nice to meet you too Sarah.

Lily: where are you from Sarah?

Sarah: I am from Algeria, what about you?

Lily: I am from Egypt.

Sarah: oh I love Egypt it is really beautiful.

Lily: thanks Sarah so is Algeria.

Sarah: how old are you Lily?

Lily: I am 20 years old, and you?

Sarah: I am 18 years old.

Verbs: الافعال

تنقسم افعال اللغة الانجليزية الي افعال اساسية وافعال مساعدة

أمثله

Main Verb: فعل اساسي

Play	يلعب
Eat	يأكل
Walk	يمشي
Talk	يتحدث

Helping verb: فعل مساعد

Verb to be	يكون
Verb to do	يفعل
Verb to have	يملك

Verb to be

وهو يعتبر من الافعال الهامة جدا فى اللغة الانجليزية ، لانه لا توجد جمله فى اللغة الانجليزية تخلو من فعل وغالبا ما يستخدام ال Verb to be مع العديد من الجمل
على سبيل المثال فى اللغة العربية نقول :احمد دكتور
ولكن في الانجليزية نقول: Ahmed is a doctor

Form :

في المضارع الي verb to be ينقسم Am , Is , Are

I	am
He She It	is
We You They	are

يستخدم هذا الفعل فى موضوعين رئيسيين
للتعبير عن المعلومات و الأحوال الشخصية

My name is Ali. I am a Egyptian. I am a graphic designer.

للتعبير عن الاشياء و وصفها

This is a cup of tea. The cup is white.

Examples:

Adel is a student

They are friends

I am a teacher

We are students

ياتي الفعل في اللغة الانجليزية بعد الضمير مباشرة.

للتعبير عن الماضي
Form:

Examples

I was in Alexandria last week.
We were friends at the high school

الكلمات الدالة علي زمن الماضي.

الحروف وادوات التعريف والنكرة

Letters: الحروف

We have 26 letters in the English language:

تنقسم الحروف اللغة الانجليزية الي:

حروف متحركة Vowels	حروف ساكنة consonants
(A-e-i-o-u)	the rest of letters

ARTICLES: ادوات التعريف والتنكير
A /An /The

Indefinite التنكير	definite التعريف
a- an	the

A and an are the indefinite articles. They refer to something not specifically known to the person you are communicating with.

بمعني ان ادوات التنكير تشير الي شىء غير محدد

Examples:

An apple تفاحة
A book كتاب
A car سيارة

If the next word begins with a consonant sound when we say it, we use (a)
A لو الكلمة تبدأ بحرف ساكن نضع

If the next word begins with a vowel sound when we say it, we use(an)
An لو الكلمة تبدأ بحرف ساكن نضع
وادوات التنكير تستخدم للكلمات المفردة فقط ولا يمكن ان تسبق كلمات الجمع

Examples:

A cat
An orange
An elephant
A pen
A car

ولكن لا يمكن ان نقول

A cats
An apples

(The) refers to something specific:
وتأتي قبل الاسم الذي لا يوجد من نوعه سوى واحد فقط مثل :
وتأتي أيضا ً قبل أسماء الانهار و البحار
و أسماء الآلات الموسيقية

Faris: Sorry, I can’t hear you. I’m outside washing windows.

Hadil: I need to find the vinegar so I can make the salad dressing.

Faris: Speak louder! I’m outside washing the windows!

Hadil: I’m looking for the spray bottle with vinegar in it! Have you seen it!?

Faris: Yes, I am using it to wash the windows!

Hadil: You are using it to wash the windows!?

Faris: What!?

Hadil: You are using my vinegar to wash the windows!?

Faris: Yes! Do you want to use my window cleaner to make the salad dressing
